Gender Reveal! IT'S A...

OMG!!! Jeff and I are going to have a sweet baby girl come November :) We are BEYOND excited and you know I have already been shopping away for the most adorable baby girl clothes ever! It was such a shock because I was convinced that it was going to be a boy from my dreams to the old wives tales but we were pleasantly surprised. Now I couldn't imagine not having a girl. It was a wonderful party with family and friends sharing this very special moment with us. I had to go all out down to the very last detail like I said before- I LOVE party planning! My mom even called me "Sara Kardashian" when I told her I thought about hiring a photographer to take pictures at the event haha!

After everyone had voted and all arrived it was time for the big reveal! I had been waiting all week since having the ultrasound done the previous week, I had a sealed envelope with the results taunting me the whole time but I do not peek and was so ready to know what color we were going to see in that cake!

Getting in some practice with our dear friend's baby girl Carolina :)

And for the name...

Well, there you have it.. our gender reveal party in pictures! Now I'm pinning away girl nursery ideas :)

5 on Friday

It's finally Friday! What a long week or so it seemed to me because all I can think about it is Jeff & I's gender reveal party TOMORROW!! All I do is think about it, talk about it, and even dream about it :) So ready to know if baby Neisslie is a boy or girl. So for this 5 on Friday link up, I am going to recap some events that have happened over the past weekend because I have been super busy on weekends and haven't had time to post about it as well as share about new events happening this weekend!
{1} Father's Day
Another great Father's Day down in the books, especially with Jeff becoming a future daddy in November. I wanted to get him a special present to open, so I had a onesie made that said, "I <3 MY DADDY". I know that Jeff is going to be an amazing father and I can't wait to see him with our little boy or girl. He has already done so much for me during my pregnancy this far and I'm so thankful for him.
{2} Bestie's Bachelorette Bash
Super fun weekend in Chicago for my bestest friend in the whole wide world's bachelorette party! Mallory's sister did a fabulous job getting everything ready and hosted the party at her apartment in Chicago. We had adorable party favors, fun games for the bride, and of course booze!! Once Mal opened her gifts, we headed to our trolley we rented for the night to drive us around downtown Chicago! What a blast. I loved the trolley ride- so fun dancing and waving to people as they drive/walk by (probably thinking we are all crazy) haha. We stopped for a drink at a rooftop bar and then went to a country bar where a live band was playing. We danced the night away and I was feeling pretty good about myself keeping up with everyone else because I was drinking water and pop plus wearing tall heels. About 1:45 AM is when my feet started killing me. Overall, I would say it was a great success and Mallory is ready to tie the knot next weekend!!

{3} Gender Reveal Party Planning
Like I've said before- I love party planning!! I want to cover every detail and make it fun for everyone attending. Of course, I used Pinterest and Etsy to help me with ideas and decor. Here is the invitation we got designed from the Etsy shop and some other inspiring pins from Pinterest!

Five on Friday

It's that time again for another 5 on Friday link up! This week is a mix of things- pregnancy, summer, and fitness! Enjoy :)
{1} Adios Indiana

Say What?! Yes, it is true.. Jeff and I are moving back to Decatur, Illinois after living here in Lafayette, Indiana for a little of 2 months. WHY you ask? Well, the job Jeff took here is now open back in a different Decatur plant where he had worked swing shift. They contacted Jeff about possibly coming back but we said that unless they could offer us the relocation package again (where ADM helped us sale our house and hired movers to pack & move us) we didn't think we would be able to do another move this soon. So a few weeks go by and they call Jeff again saying they will do the full relocation package and he will start there by July 1st!! OMG I was thinking, can not believe this is happening, yet I'm so excited! With our first baby on the way and both of our families in Decatur, IL, it will be perfect. Everything happens for a reason and although it will be a process to get our house on the market here and find a new home there (living with my parents during the transition) it will all be worth it in the end :)

{2} Sunburnt
Loving summer already! This is one of the first summer where I won't be working :) I am a teacher but usually worked at a Daycare for the school age summer program back in Decatur. Now this preggo will get to relax some and work on house hunting as well as job searching for the next school year. A few days ago, I went to the Lafayette pool for some sun & fun and little did I know, I was getting way too much sun. I was there from 12-3:30 and only put on a little sunscreen once I arrived, big HUGE mistake. When I got home I was fried to a crisp- SO RED! I coated on the aloe every few hours and sleep that night was no fun. Learned my lesson for sure.

{3} Beachbody Summer Sale
Huge discount sale going on now until June 9th!! Beachbody usually does a big sale twice a year with different programs and products up to 50% off! Some programs (Les Mills Pump & Charlene Extreme) sold out in the first hour of the sale. If you have ever wondered about the workouts or what is all included, contact me at spneisslie@gmail.com or facebook message me @ https://www.facebook.com/sara.patricia.148. Here is my coach site to order! Don't miss out on these fabulous deals! I am a Beachbody coach and would love you help you achieve your fitness goals.

{4} I'm So Pregnant
Found this video parody of "Fancy" by Iggy Azalea called "I'm So Pregnant". It is hilarious and a look into the future as to what I will be feeling like in my third trimester. I had to share this as I thought all my mom and pregnant followers would get a kick out of it!

{5} 16 Week Bumpdate
*My baby at 16 weeks*
-He or she is able to listen to my voice thanks to the tiny bones forming in their ears.
-Baby is growing hair, lashes, and eyebrows
-Baby's senses of sight, sound, smell, and touch are all coming in.

How far along: 16 Weeks and 5 Days

Baby Size: 4.6 inches long and 3.5 ounces

Gender: 2 more weeks until our gender reveal party! I just want to know so I can SHOP :)

Total Weight Gain: At home scale: 142 Doctors Scale: 144 At my appointment today, I haven't gained any weight since my first appointment at 10 weeks. Say what?!! I feel like I'm eating all the time! So doctor told me that my job is to simply EAT MORE. I'm fine with that haha

Maternity Clothes: Loving my maternity shorts, so comfy!

Movement: Not sure if I have started to feel some fluttering but I'm ready for lots of it.

Sleep: Still crazy dreams ( recent dream- my mom was pregnant at the same time as me and was going to steal our boy name for herself haha) but sleeping better through the night.

Best Moment of the Week: Hearing a strong heartbeat this morning at dr. appointment.

Missing Anything: Not really

Food Cravings: Cereal

Symptoms: Headaches occasionally and some congestion

Labor Signs: Not even close

Wedding Rings: On

Happy or Moody most of the week: I've been feeling great! Excited my bump is starting to pop out more and started my baby registries on line.

Looking Forward to: My best friend's bachelorette party next weekend and gender ultrasound!!

Have a fabulous weekend :)

XOXO,
Sara
