Rewind Wednesday *Lindsay's Baby Shower*

Happy Wednesday everyone! I'm about a month late at posting my friend Lindsay's baby shower that I co-hosted with the wonderful Jill Frieburg! It was such a great day and the shower was a  big success. So much love at the shower for the mommy to be and baby girl Carolina :) I have to admit that party planning is one of my favorite things to do! I just love coming up with a theme, decor, food, games, and more. The shower took place on February 22nd at Jill's home. Here are all the pictures I took to capture the wonderful event...
First to-do on the list was finding the perfect invitation! I love Tinyprints designs and their pricing was very reasonable. Since Lindsay was doing the baby's room in the colors of gray and yellow, we decided to base the shower colors off that and add a little pop of pink :) I also love the new trend of bringing a book instead of a card. It is a great way to build the child's library and with the price of a card nowadays, it's about the same as a new childrens book! Found the book poem on Pinterest. The invites turned out so cute.. will definitely order from Tinyprints again in the future!
Hostesses and the mommy to be :)
*Decorations & more*
We found most of decorations from Hobby Lobby like the puffs and ribbon. Jill made the fabulous chevron banners. Display of shower favors by front door with pink Bath & Body Sweet Pea hand sanitizer and pink nail polish for guests. "Think Pink" printables on my Pinterest as well!
Adorable belly cake from Cakes By Lori in Champaign, IL. Seriously, how cute is this cake?! It tasted as good as it looked too. Drinks for the shower- Sangria Punch & Lemonade. Delicious!
Recipe for Sangria Punch
2 Bottles of Moscato
1 Pink Lemonade Concentrate
3 Cups of Sprite
Fresh berries- Raspberries, Strawberries, Blackberries, & blueberries
ENJOY :)
*Activities and Games*
Since baby Coleman is a girl, we had to have a hair bow station!!! So fun for the guests to make a special unique bow for baby Carolina. She will have plenty of bows to choose from to accessorize with any outfit. I found the hair bow kit on Etsy for only $44.50 & that makes 42 head bows and 5 clips! Another activity we had the guests do was create Carolina's First ABC Book. I printed off letter color pages and had the guests color it and write a little note at the bottom. Lastly, while Lindsay opened gifts, we played Baby Shower Bingo. Fill in the blanks with the gifts you think the mom to be will open and if you get 5 in a row, call out bingo and win a prize! I printed these chevron boards from this Etsy shop. Needless to say, Pinterest & Etsy are AMAZING for any party :)

 *Gift Time*

So happy to be apart of Lindsay & baby Carolina's day! I loved planning with Jill and enjoyed every minute of the shower. We "showered" them with lots of love and can't wait for her to be here in 5 weeks :)

Goodbye Illinois, Hello Indiana!

Sorry I have been MIA once again.. March has been a crazy busy month with moving to a new state & all! So thankful for moving companies {made our life so much easier}. WIWW

Just another manic Monday... blah! Here is Central Illinois, we are experiencing freezing rain and icy roads :( I am so ready for it to be spring. Stuck in the house, I decided to get some things done like laundry and cleaning. I'm also starting my new workout program, 21 Day Fix, which I'm ready excited about! Details about this workout are HERE in my previous post. Now on to today's post... I haven't done a WIWW post in a while, so I made sure to take some pictures of my outfits this Valentine's Day weekend. Jeff and I went to dinner at Texas Roadhouse on Friday since everywhere else we booked up. So Saturday was are real date night as we went to listen to a great jazz band and then dined at our favorite local restaurant called Paco's Sol Bistro. Delicious food and always a great time. Five on Friday *Valentine's Day Edition*

Hello to all you love birds out there! Today is the day to let your special someone know how much you love and care about them :) I can be such a hopeless romantic sometimes and my husband on the other hand thinks Valentine's Day is just another day haha men! I agree that you should celebrate love all year long and not just on one holiday but it is fun with all the hype around it! I love LOVE {call me cheesy}, so I want to make this 5 on Friday all lovey dovey just for you!
©One© Gold Bar Necklace
This is one of my favorite gifts ever from my hubby! I have seen that these gold bar necklaces are all the rage lately, especially with celebrities! I knew I wanted one but with a personal touch to make it a little bit different. I thought engraving our wedding anniversary in roman numerals would be so special and meaningful :) With that idea in mind, I went straight to my go to site, Etsy, and began to search for shops that could make it happen! Jeff was asking me what I wanted for Vday and I shared my idea of the necklace and he thought that was awesome and said, "you want it, you got it babe!" Yay! Thanks to my hubby, I placed my ordered and I am very pleased! I will treasure this forever and ever.

Transformation Tuesday

Have you ever discovered a passion for something that you thought you would never have?! I will be the first to admit that working out and exercise was never a priority in my life until I hit my breaking point at the end of October. You can read about my commitment to change in my previous post about "New Year, New ME!". It was a wake up call to be better and feel better! I am so much happier now that I chose to put fitness first. I am no where near being done with my journey, I have only just begun! Brazil Butt Lift was my first Beachbody program and I want to continue to grow with Beachbody as I transform my body to be the best possible!
I made the choice to become a Beachbody coach!!! I can't wait to help other people achieve their fitness goals. After receiving such an overwhelming amount of support and positive comments on my BBL transformation, I knew this was something I wanted to do because I thought I NEVER could. I want to inspire people! I believed that I can do it and so can YOU :) This is only the beginning...
I want to learn as much as I can about this business and one way to connect with people is to become "A Product of the Product" I have shown my before and after pictures from Brazil Butt Lift but that isn't where I stop. I need to do more in order to help others, I must complete more Beachbody programs, so I can share and teach about them! I am beginning my next program in a week and I AM PUMPED! This program will be life changing. It sold out within 48 hours of its release.. SOLD OUT! It is called "21 Day Fix"- the number says it all! 21 days. 30 minute work outs. Color coordinated portion control containers. No more guessing, if it's on the list, you can eat it! I can't wait to keep you all updated as I blog about my 21 Day Fix- pictures and all! Contact me via email: spneisslie@gmail.com or my Facebook page if you are interested :)
This quote is ME! It finally just clicked one day, so I changed.
